Hot on the heels of the hypercolour ‘Crashland’ collaboration with Men Imitating Machines, Rachel by the Stream release ‘Surprises’, the latest single from their forthcoming debut album.

While recent releases have seen dance focussed flavours, RBTS take us somewhere different and, well, surprising with their latest offering. Featuring a groove-driven hip hop / soul backing complete with vinyl samples and a moving tapestry of synths, Rachel’s honey-soaked vocal sits perfectly in the song, making ‘Surprises’ a complete treat for the ears, full of quirks and unexpected direction.
